Commercial 3D Renderings
Over the years we have worked with thousands of business owners who need 3D renderings for their various industries. While a lot of these businesses are architects, builders and developers who focus on residential projects like houses, high rise apartments and condos, our multi-talented team also have a wide range of experience creating 3D renderings specifically for commercial, retail and infrastructure related projects. We have created architectural visualizations in industries as varied as restaurants and hospitality, designer pool installations, ski lodges, gyms, golf clubs, sports grounds, child care facilities, public art installations, and even train stations and airports! This page aims to showcase some of these pieces to give you an idea of what we’re capable of.
opportunities for the commercial space during and after covid-19
We know that many business owners and commercial ventures are hurting at the moment due to the effect that COVID-19 is having on the economy. Many businesses are having to close, with one estimate stating that up to 7.5 million businesses may close for good if COVID-19 persists unabated. Our hearts truly go out to those businesses badly affected and the people who work in them. But we also know that business people are some of the most resilient individuals in the world. We’re used to stress and having to adapt to constantly changing environments.
While many people are struggling, we have also spoken to lots of business owners who are looking for the opportunity in these dark times, either pivoting to new business models in light of COVID restrictions, or looking ahead and seeing the potential for new business growth everywhere once the economy begins to open back up.
People will always need jobs. The government will likely keep spending to stimulate infrastructure and development and to get money flowing again. People sick of being cooped up at home will want to go out to eat, socialize, exercise and shop. With the amount of businesses currently closed or likely to close in the near future there will be big gaps in the market that can be filled by businesses who are able to stay the course. We hope you are one of those businesses, and if you need a 3D rendering for your commercial project we’d love to be a part of your success now and into the future.
Some examples of industries we have created commercial architectural visualizations in
This list of industries is by no means exhaustive and is in no particular order, but aims to show you just how capable our highly skilled team are when working across different industries and uses for 3D renderings.
To avoid a very slow loading page we’ve only included a small number of examples for each category below. If you would like to see more examples of our work in any particular category, get in touch with us through our contact page, or send us through a quote request and tell us about the specifics of your project!

Architectural visualizations for restaurants, bars, cafes and coffee shops
We have created numerous 3D renderings for restaurants, cafes, bars, coffee shops and other small eateries and hang-out spots. Whether it’s to adapt to COVID distancing restrictions, or planning for a new build or redevelopment of your space, we can design in any style you like.
3D Visualizations for hotels, resorts, bed and breakfasts (BnBs), chalets and ski lodges
Working on projects for resorts and hotels are always very interesting, as we’re often working with unique designs from architects from all over the world with many years of experience working on exciting projects. Whether you’re looking for a rendering for the lobby, the individual rooms or floor plan, or something that includes the property and surrounding gardens we can help. We can also do animations and virtual reality walk throughs if you want people to get a feel of what it will be like at your property and why they might like to spend time there without ever having to step foot outside their living room.
3D Architectural renderings for wineries, wedding venues and function / conference centers
We have worked with a number of wedding planners, venues and function centers, and even brides themselves when planning weddings and other events. While we’re currently locked down, now might be a great time to plan and design the wedding you’ve always dreamed of, or to present your venue in a way that brides-to-be won’t look anywhere else when it’s time to tie the knot! We can help make your dream a reality, or help you design and decor suggestions if you’re not sure what look would work best. You can even quickly and easily try different options to see which you prefer.
3D renderings for public works including roads, outdoor spaces and gardens, art installations, fountains, council buildings and council planning
For the town planners out there, we have worked on a number of projects involving public spaces. Whether that is doing renderings for entire residential developments or new construction areas to help with planning approval, showing how public parks will look according to new designs in relation to surrounding buildings, or doing renderings of amazing places for our public servants to go to work we can help. Have a look at the images and animation below, which includes sporting facilities and a number of other amenities and additions that are regularly found in public spaces and recreational areas.
3D visualizations and virtual reality tours for Art galleries
Up until COVID-19, art galleries have typically been an “in-person” experience. At least one enterprising gallery, however, has taken it upon themselves to change with the times! Below you can find a virtual reality rendering we completed recently, that allows the people to “visit” the gallery in virtual reality. That means the gallery can still sell the high-end art work they are exhibiting to people viewing them from the comfort of their own homes. Just like VR tours have begun to play a big role in real estate sales, we believe things like virtual art exhibitions will be more and more common into the future.
child and aged care facilities
Child and aged care facilities can be bland, grey buildings that look like they’re straight out of the communist bloc, or they can be warm, inviting works of art that people actually want to learn and live in (we much prefer the latter!). The renderings we’ve done for these sorts of facilities can be used when planning new developments, or as part of marketing and promotional material to help get more people involved and invested.
swimming pools, waterparks and waterfronts
There’s something about adding water to a rendering that really makes the visuals pop. Whether you’re an architect building a state of the art waterpark, or a high-end pool installer (either indoor pools, or outdoor pools for houses, condos or resorts), getting a 3D rendering showing the pool in the development can be a massive help with improving buyer interest and engagement, or for getting people dreaming about their holidays relaxing by the pool. We’ve also done work for whole waterfronts. Check out our high-end visualizations page or our swimming pool 3D design page to see examples of that kind of project.
sports fields (soccer and football), stadiums, tennis courts, golf clubs and gyms
We have created renderings for a wide range of sporting facilities, including:
golf clubs
tennis courts
football stadiums
soccer fields
baseball pitches
pickleball and padel courts; and
more!
This type of rendering can be particularly useful for seeing how to facility will fit in its surrounding environment, whether you will have enough parking, whether it’s easily accessible to public transport etc.
You can learn more about architectural visualization for baseball, soccer and football fields and stadiums here.
If you’re interested in renderings for a pickelball or padel court, check out this page.
cannabis retail outlets
Over the last couple of years the cannabis industry has been one of the biggest emerging industries in the world. This has led to many people to consider opening boutique marijuana dispensaries. Most of our work in this industry has been designs for new shops yet to be built, but we’ve also worked with clients in the manufacturing side of the cannabis industry as well.
airports and train stations
Our expert team of 3D visualization pros can work at any scale, right from the smallest tiny house to the biggest airport and everything in between. In these examples you can see how we can add people to the environment of your rendering. Adding this sort of element tends to bring the visualizations to life as it gives them much more of a sense of scale and how people would use the space and environment. We can also do animated walkthroughs and flythroughs of commercial properties as you can see in the Bermuda airport example below.
3D renderings for solar panel installers and installations
Commercial solar panel installations are typically very expensive up front, but can save a lot of money in the long term. We have worked both with installers of solar panel systems, and with businesses who are looking to get a solar array installed on their building to show how the installations would look from the sky. Find out more about 3D renderings for solar installations in our blog post about them here.
gas stations and service centers
Do you need a design for a gas station build or re-development you’re planning? Or are you trying to figure out the best layout for the pits and hydraulic lifts for your service center? With more people choosing to travel domestically rather than internationally and wanting to service their cars rather than buy new ones due to the impact of COVID-19 on the economy, gas stations and service centers might be two indispensable businesses in the future. Is now the time to consider revamping your offering?
office buildings (including floorplan layouts) and unique co-working spaces
Office work is changing. People working in offices need to follow social distancing rules, and more people are working at home, choosing to forgo office life and using co-working spaces temporarily for meetings when they need a physical business presence or want some time around others. We can help you visualize your re-imagined office spaces, and create exciting visuals to entice people to your new or re-developed co-working spaces. We also do a lot of work with 3D floorplans if you need help deciding on a particular layout for your office or workspace.
rooftop and party spaces
Hopefully in the not-to-distant future, we’ll be able to get together again in something resembling how we were able to before the onset of the virus. Outdoor and rooftop party spaces may become a new favorite with people keen to socialize in an outdoor environment that’s not closed in.
malls, shopping centers and retail shops and local business locations
We have done a lot of renderings for various malls and retails shops, both big and small. These visuals are usually a mix of interior and exterior designs, but as we’ve shown a lot of interiors in the images above, we thought we’d focus here on some various types of external designs. Typically the more little artistic details we add - the delicate latticework on the Stop & Shop image or the reflections on the mirrored glass of the buildings for instance - the more realistic the buildings are. Depending on your budget and what you’re looking to achieve with the rendering, we can get them to the point where the renderings are practically indistinguishable from photos.
anything other type of commercial application for architectural visualization you can think of!
Hairdressers, beauty salons, chiropractor clinic, hospital waiting rooms, car parking and storage facilities, libraries, tattoo parlors or anything else you can think of.. If you have a commercial project in mind we can turn your ideas into vibrant 3D renderings that will help improve buy-in from investors, save money by seeing potential mistakes in your designs, and sell your designs to prospective buyers or people who will be using your space without them ever having to set foot inside.
