What Is An Architectural 360 Spin Image?
Architectural 360 spins are a very popular service here at Render 3D Quick. 360 spins take static 3D renderings to a whole new level, allowing people to take control over their model, spinning it around and viewing their building project from all angles. They are very affordable, and a great budget-friendly alternative to full 3D animations or virtual reality tours.
We do multiple different types of 360 spins including; exteriors where you spin around the outside of a property, 360 floor plans that allow you to spin around and inspect a house floor plan from different angles, interior 360 tours for the inside of rooms and buildings and hybrid 360 spins which are a combination of both. We create 360 spins for both residential and commercial projects.
We have created hundreds of 360 spins for clients! On our Sketchfab portfolio page, you can view examples of four hundred and fifty 360 degree spin tours we have previously made for clients.

Exterior 360 Spins For Houses, Homes and Other Real Estate
Exterior 360 spin models typically display a property in an empty state (eg. without furniture in it). The quality of rendering we use for 360 spins is lower than that we use for our regular photorealistic renderings, as creating a high resolution 360 spin can lead to very large and unusable files.
360 exterior tours let you look at your property from all angles. We can even include a background like fields, forests, or the surrounding environment your property will be built in, however these remain separate from the 360 model itself, as otherwise the 360 degree features would not work. One fixed light source is usually used, so you can pick the direction of the sun, time of day or light source you would like included in your project.
Interior 360 Spin Tours for viewing of the inside of properties
Interior 360 tours are great to get a quick sense of the internal spaces of a house or commercial property, without needing to go to the expense of getting a full 3D animation or virtual reality tour made. While beautiful, static interior renderings sometimes do not fully capture the scope of the interior space of your project, and how different areas of a property or furniture additions within that property interact with each other. Interior spin tours give a cost effective sense of what the space will feel like inside, allowing the opportunity to fix any issues with your structure before you begin building it.
Hybrid interior / exterior 360 Fly Around Tours
Hybrid 360 fly around tours can combine elements of both interior and exterior 360 spins. For example, the 360 tour on the left below combines both an internal and external view of the property, depending on how you interact with the 360 fly around.
The example on the right shows how we can customize 360 tours to the needs of our clients. In this example, the customer chose not to have colors and textures rendered onto the model. This allowed them to save some money, and to get a purer sense of the form and function of the building design, without being distracted at this stage by its aesthetics.
360 floor plan Spin Models
360 floor plan spin models take a static 3D floor plan rendering, and make it interactive. These 360 spin images can be quite fun, as they give a good sense of what your property will look like from different perspectives with furniture in them. We can make them as bright and colorful as you like depending on your taste in decor, furniture and fittings.
360 Spin Models For Commercial Architecture Projects
360 spin models also have very useful commercial applications. In the examples below, having an interactive model allows people to inspect their planned commercial projects from many different angles. For instance, how would people parking at the mall best access the different entryways or shops within them? Will a series of apartment blocks have enough space between them to get light and sun into all the apartments, or would some be dark and gloomy without being spaced out more? How do all the spaces in a gym or other open plan commercial development like an office work together? 360 spin models are great for answering questions such as these in a way that’s not possible with a regular, non-interactive commercial 3D renderings.
How Do You Make a 360 Spin Image?
Making a 360 Spin is easy! It is a natural extension from our 3D rendering services, so if you have already commissioned a 3D rendering we can quickly and easily turn that rendering into a 360 spin tour for you. If you just want a 360 spin image, we will need your building plans, or if you don’t have any plans, some sketches on paper with dimensions, and some reference images to help with colors and textures. We then create a 3D model specifically designed to turn into a 360 spin image for you.
What Is the Difference Between 360 Spin Models and Virtual Reality Tours
360 spin models have a limited amount of interactivity. You can spin the model in any direction or angle, but you only have one main viewing point and can’t zoom in or control the position you are viewing from. 360 spin models can be viewed with or without a VR headset.
Virtual reality tours for real estate are much more involved. You have complete control over how you move through the tour, including inspecting individual rooms. VR tours can also have additional features added, such as the ability to change between different furniture or decor options.
360 spin models are much simpler to make than VR tours and also much more affordable, so are a great budget-friendly option.
How Much Do 360 spin Images Cost?
The cost for 360 spin images depends greatly on the complexity of the building or series of buildings the 360 spin is being made for. Our pricing for 360 spins begins at $299 USD. To get a quote on your project in 5 - 10 minutes (yes, really that fast!), send us the details of your project through our quote request page.
What Is the Difference Between 360 spins and 360 Photography?
360 spins are created from 3D renderings, which means that they can be made when the property has not yet been built.
360 photography usually refers to the process of taking lots of photos of an object from many different angles, which can later be stitched together to create a 360 spin image. These are frequently used for interactive product images on e-commerce site for example.
