Where: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Why: The Consumer Electronics Show is one of the major technology showcases in the world. VR has had an ever-expanding focus in recent years. With an emphasis on cutting-edge technological innovation and research, CES provides the primary means of showcasing your company’s advanced capabilities.
Silicon Valley Virtual Reality Expo
When: TBA
Where: San Jose, California, USA
Why: As the industry’s leading, primary event since 2014, you can expect all the top players, all the top tech, and all the top reveals to be present at SVVR 2018. Though the dates haven’t been officially announced, expect sometime in the Spring of ‘18. Previous events have been phenomenal in content and craftsmanship on display. You won’t want to miss a second!
VR & AR World
When: June 12th-14th
Where: London, UK
Why: As the primary meeting across the pond, those North America-based companies seeking expansion or international partners would be wise to visit. The main keynotes for VR focus on application in automotive, education, and medical industries, along with commercialization techniques. Of interest, as well, would be the potential application in entertainment apart from gaming, a topic that isn’t covered in-depth at other venues.
Certainly there’s much to discover at these expos. While attending them all is likely a difficult thing to do, there are certainly benefits to each of them. Learn as much as you can about them, decide which is best for your needs, and don’t hesitate to take the opportunity presented to you!
